Policing is necessary, but its reform is just as vital. As our crime rate continues to climb, we need a police force that builds bridges with our community members. Across the nation, we continue to see acts of unwarranted violence against all members of our community, especially minorities, by police officers. We need to start holding those responsible accountable, and start taking the appropriate steps to reduce/prevent further instances from ever occurring.
