As the son of a small business owner, I understand how crucial such businesses are to our economy. Small businesses are the backbone of our economy. However, there continue to be obstacles that make it difficult for potential entrepreneurs to open (and maintain) a small business in Raleigh. In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, it is essential for us to continue to promote, assist, and lift up our small business community in order for our economy to thrive.
