Taxes
Taxes should not continue to go up and be an additional burden on our property owners while corporations continue to get tax breaks for little to nothing in return. It should be the duty of the City Council to find ways to fund the City’s budget without leaving the taxpayers to pay the bulk amount.
Lower Taxes for the Taxpayers

Advocate for a tax relief program for property owners who have lived at their property for a certain amount of time to protect homeowners who have a deep history in Raleigh.

Work with nonprofits and the like to set up a grant program for homeowners who are unable to pay for the increase in taxes.

Prohibit tax breaks for large corporations unless they invest in our communities.
